Dr. Subhash University is a state-private university established in June 2022 under Gujarat Private Universities Act 2009, located in the Junagadh Municipal limits. The university is managed by Dr. Subhash P. Chavda Ahir Kelavani Mandal, an organization started by visionary educationalist Shri Pethaljibhai N. Chavda, and educating since 1976. Dr. Subhash University offers various diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programmes in various disciplines such as Arts, Science, Humanities, Commerce, Management, Engineering, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Computer Application, Agriculture and Pharmacy.

Shri Pethaljibhai Chavda founded “Dr. Subhash Education Foundation” in 1976 which initiated a step towards girls’ education and laid the foundation of Dr. Subhash Academy. The doctrine of Dr. Subhash Academy ranges from primary to higher secondary school education, teacher’s training education, higher education offering Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral courses in various disciplines.
