Introduction to course
Department of Electrical Engineering was established in the year 2010 by offering a Bachelor’s Degree Course in Electrical Engineering, to provide an equal emphasis on theoretical and experimental knowledge of electrical engineering. The Department has qualified and accomplished faculty members of extensive experience in academics as well as industrial. The faculties not only empower the students with conceptual depth but also enable them to meet the requirements of the industries.
Department provides in depth knowledge of fundamentals of electrical engineering, Electrical Machines, Electrical Power System, Control System, Power Electronics, Computer Hardware, Computer Software.
Mission
The mission of the Electrical Engineering is to provide high-quality and effective education in the field of electrical engineering at the best private university in Junagadh; to provide suitable forums to enhance the creative talents of students and faculty members; develop partnerships with industry by meeting the ever-changing needs of the market for future engineers; and equip students with knowledge and experience in their field of specialization to contribute to the making of professional leaders. We aim to enable students to develop skills to solve complex technological problems of current times and provide a framework for promoting collaborative and multidisciplinary activities.

Our vision is to build an educational approach at the best private university in Junagadh that emphasizes a solid technical base combined with critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and experiential learning, while encouraging entrepreneurship through open innovation with quality and high-impact service.
Course objective
The undergraduate educational goal is to prepare graduates to work as electrical engineers for the broad range of opportunities available in industrial, commercial, academic and government organizations and to prepare graduates for continued learning experiences either in a formal graduate or professional program or in continuing education. Our alumni will be enabled to advance in their fields to supervisory and leadership positions in their chosen careers. Graduates will continue their professional development, through individual effort and advanced professional education. Electrical Engineer will provide technical leadership, with an understanding of the broader ethical and societal impact of technological developments, and the importance of diversity in the workforce.
Course outcome
Electrical Engineering will practice electrical engineering in industry, education, and public service. Electrical Engineer will contribute to the technological and economic development. Electrical Engineer will be prepared for solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
- An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
- An ability to function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives.
- An ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
- An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data
- An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.

Admission procedure
Eligibility:
- The student who has qualified HSC or equivalent examination in Science stream from recognized board or body is eligible for admission in B.Tech. programme.

Admission Process:
- Purchase a PIN and Booklet from the recognized bank as informed by the Admission Committee.
- Submit an online form with necessary details and upload the documents on the admission portal.
- Make suitable choice filling as suggested by the admission committee in due time.
- Once the seat allocation is done and a seat is allotted to you, confirm your admission and pay necessary fees online on the portal.
- Take print of confirmation letter and payment receipt and report to the allotted institute in prescribed time duration.
