Introduction to course

Department of Computer Engineering was established in the year 2012 by offering a Diploma Course in Computer Engineering, the a vision to provide the sense of creativity, talent and knowledge in Computer Technology. Department of Computer Engineering offers undergraduate program in Computer Engineering -Diploma Computer Engineering. It has state of art laboratories equipped with latest configuration computers, structured cabling network and high end servers. Dedicated Internet Leased Line provides round the clock high speed internet access to each and every computer. It has associated with Microsoft Campus License Program to access latest released software & development tools.

It has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculties providing excellent teaching & learning environment. Faculties with industrial background bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial needs.

Mission

The mission of the Department is to produce undergraduates according to the needs of industry, government, society, and the scientific community, while fostering the overall development of faculties and students at the best private university in Junagadh. We aim to solve industrial, governmental, societal, and political issues by applying computing techniques, imparting human and ethical values to our students for better service to society, and creating awareness and affection for free and open-source software.

Vision

The vision of the Department is to generate competent professionals to become part of the industry, degree programs, and research organizations at the national and international levels at the best private university in Junagadh, and to provide the necessary strengths to enable the students to innovate and become entrepreneurs.

Course objective

The program objectives are to develop undergraduates who will utilize their skills in engineering to solve technological problems of industry with computerized system. They will also be able to interpret the new technological developments in the area of computer science and engineering for the administration to meet the established deadlines.

Use computerized system to analyze and solve technical problems. Undergraduates have ability to communicate effectively and accurately. Undergraduates will be successful in modern engineering practice, integrate into the local and global workforce, and contribute to the economy of country. Undergraduates will continue to demonstrate on the necessary professional skills to be competent employees, degree programs, leadership roles, and have career success and satisfaction. Undergraduates will become productive citizens with high ethical and professional standards, who make sound engineering or managerial decisions, and have enthusiasm for the profession and professional growth.

Course outcome

  • An ability to design and conduct experiments in Diploma Computer Engineering, as well as to analyze and interpret data.

  • An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern computer engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.

Admission procedure

Eligibility:
  • The student who has qualified SSC or equivalent from recognized board or body is eligible for admission in Diploma Engineering programme.

Admission Process:
  • Purchase a PIN and Booklet from the recognized bank as informed by the Admission Committee.
  • Submit an online form with necessary details and upload the documents on the admission portal.
  • Make suitable choice filling as suggested by the admission committee in due time.
  • Once the seat allocation is done and a seat is allotted to you, confirm your admission and pay necessary fees online on the portal.
  • Take print of confirmation letter and payment receipt and report to the allotted institute in prescribed time duration.
