Workshop On Recent Trend In Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Department Is Going To Organize Two Days Workshop On Recent Trend In Mechanical Engineering.
Expert Talk On ‘How To Face The Interview’
Dr. Subhash Technical Campus is organising an expert session on How To Face The Interview by Prof. Shailesh K. Bhatt (Chartered Engineer And Retired Professor) for Final Year Students.
Introduction to course
Main role of a Mechanical Engineer is to create, to maintain and to destroy for the betterment of the all. Mechanical engineering in fact is the basis on which all other forms of modern engineering depend fundamentally. Mass, motion, forces, energy, design, and manufacturing – these comprise the world of mechanical engineering. The Department is well equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and infrastructural facilities in the major areas viz. Design & Dynamics, Thermal Engineering and Production Engineering. Our faculties are the intellectual leaders in their respective fields and committed to produce excellent engineers. Department is also encouraging their faculties for quality improvement programs to learn the latest changes and trends in their respective fields.
Mission
- To provide a comprehensive education that blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, enabling students to develop the practical skills and technical expertise required to excel in the rapidly evolving mechanical engineering industry.
- To inculcate the importance of sustainability by integrating eco-friendly principles and practices into the curriculum, projects, and research, ensuring graduates contribute positively to environmental conservation.
- To cultivate a dynamic learning environment that encourages students to engage in innovative research and development, focusing on solving real-world mechanical engineering challenges with cutting-edge technologies.
- To develop well-rounded engineers with a commitment to continuous learning, ethical responsibility, and leadership, empowering them to adapt to emerging technological trends and societal needs.
Vision
To provide cutting-edge Mechanical Engineering education, empowering students
to address current and emerging technological challenges through innovative, ecofriendly solutions
Course objective
- Students engage in post-baccalaureate endeavours, whether in engineering graduate study or engineering practice or in the pursuit of other fields, like science, law, medicine, business, or public policy.
- Apply their mechanical engineering education to address the full range of technical and societal problems with creativity, imagination, confidence and responsibility.
- Serve as ambassadors for engineering by exhibiting the highest ethical and professional standards, and by communicating the importance and excitement of this dynamic field.
- Retain the intellectual curiosity that motivates lifelong learning and allows for a flexible response to the rapidly evolving challenges of the 21st century.

Course outcome
- Students get an improved ability to apply knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Engineering.
- They are able to not only design and conduct experiments in Computer Engineering, while analysing and interpreting data, but also design a computer system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints.
- Their ability is not limited to identifying, formulating, and solving Computer Engineering problems; it extends to functioning on multidisciplinary teams.
- They develop an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility, along with the ability to communicate effectively. In addition, recognise the need for, and gain the ability to engage in life-long learning.
- They acquire the knowledge of contemporary issues in engineering for managing projects and their financial aspects while understanding the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental and societal context.
- They acquire the ability to use the modern computer engineering techniques, skills, and tools necessary for practice, and work professionally in both thermal and mechanical systems areas.
