Introduction to course
Faculty of MCA – (Master of Computer Applications) was established in the year 2010 by offering a Master Degree Course in Computer Application, with a vision to provide the sense of creativity, talent and knowledge in Computer Technology. Department offers Postgraduate program in Computer Science and Application. It has state of art laboratories equipped with latest configuration computers, structured cabling network and high end servers. Dedicated Internet Leased Line provides round the clock high speed internet access to each and every computer. It has associated with Microsoft Campus License Program to access latest released software & development tools.
It has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculties providing excellent teaching & learning environment. Faculties with industrial background bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial needs.
Mission
The broad objective of the MCA programme is to prepare post graduates for productive careers in software industry, corporate sector, Govt. organizations and academia by providing skill based environment for teaching and research in the core and emerging areas of the discipline.
The Progra mme’s thrust is on giving the students a thorough and sound background in theoretical and skill-oriented courses relevant to the latest computer software development. The programme is purely dedicated to solve mathematical, computing, communications/networking and commercial problems.
This Master’s Degree Programme has been designed with a semester approach in mind. The first year courses are aimed at skills development in computers using various technologies, the second year is more focused on core courses providing conceptual frame work and the third year provides the specialization and the project work.

To evolve as a center of excellence in computing education producing globally competent professionals who can contribute for the betterment of society.

Course objective
Produce knowledgeable and skilled human resources which are employable in IT and ITES. Produce entrepreneurs who can develop customized solutions for small to large Enterprises, and to develop academically competent and professionally motivated personnel, equipped with objective, critical thinking, right moral and ethical values that compassionately foster the scientific temper with a sense of social responsibility.
MCA post graduates who will have successful careers based on their understanding of formal and practical methods of Application Development using the concepts of computer programming, software and design principles. MCA graduates will demonstrate analytical and design skills including the ability to generate creative solutions and foster team-oriented, professionalism through effective communication in their careers.
