Introduction to course
Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2010 by offering a Bachelor’s Degree Course in Information Technology, with a vision to provide the sense of creativity, talent and knowledge in Computer Technology. Department of Information Technology offers undergraduate program in Information Technology – B.E. Information Technology. It has state of art laboratories equipped with latest configuration computers, structured cabling network and high end servers. Dedicated Internet Leased Line provides round the clock high speed internet access to each and every computer. It has associated with Microsoft Campus License Program to access latest released software & development tools.
It has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculties providing excellent teaching & learning environment. Faculties with industrial background bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial needs.
Mission
The primary mission of our B.E. program in Information Technology (IT) at the best private university in Junagadh is to prepare students for successful careers as IT professionals who make a positive impact on society. This aim is to develop students who value honesty and the dignity of work, enriching their lives and serving the needs of our constituents. We adhere to AICTE guidelines and Gujarat Technological University’s standards, while also striving to provide a pleasurable learning experience enhanced by innovative academic approaches.

Course objective
After graduation, students with a B.E. in Information Technology will be able to:
- Hold progressively more responsible positions in the I.T. field and/or embark on a research career in the field
- Work together effectively in teams.
- Utilize their expertise in engineering to develop a product or process.
- Made positive contributions to civic and society by applying skills and abilities learned during undergraduate program in information technology.
- Effective use of communication skill to promote ideas, goals or products.
- Demonstrate ethical behavior as an IT professional and sensitivity to the impact of technology on society.
- Pursue and successfully complete an advanced degree if desired.
Course outcome
Each graduate of the program should be able to:
- Apply core IT concepts, problem solving skills, best practices and standards to information technologies.
- Apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions of an analyzed a complex computing problem.
- Identify and evaluate organizational requirements and effectively integrate IT-based solutions into the user environment
- Communicate effectively in a range of professional contexts.
- Work effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program’s discipline.
- Identify and analyze user requirements and to take them into account in the selection, creation, integration, evaluation, and administration of computing based systems.
- Define and describe the influence of IT solutions in a global, societal, and ethical context.

- The student who has qualified HSC or equivalent examination in Science stream from recognized board or body is eligible for admission in B.Tech. programme.
Admission Process:
- Purchase a PIN and Booklet from the recognized bank as informed by the Admission Committee.
- Submit an online form with necessary details and upload the documents on the admission portal.
- Make suitable choice filling as suggested by the admission committee in due time.
- Once the seat allocation is done and a seat is allotted to you, confirm your admission and pay necessary fees online on the portal.
- Take print of confirmation letter and payment receipt and report to the allotted institute in prescribed time duration.
