Introduction to course
Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2014 by offering a Diploma Course in Civil Engineering, with a vision to provide the sense of creativity, talent and knowledge in Modern Construction Technology. Department of Civil Engineering offers undergraduate program in Civil Engineering. Department consists of various laboratories like, Surveying, Transportation engineering, Fluid mechanics, Environmental Engineering, Applied mechanics etc. Each laboratories equipped with latest configuration. Fundamental Aim and orientation of Civil Engineering Department is to develop engineers to compete in all areas regarding the job, further study and entrepreneurship. Department offers a rich and varied background Exposure via various Industrial Visits, Expert Lectures and Seminars for the Students to enhance Overall, department aims to cultivate sound civil engineers to compete under all situations through their knowledge, guidance, care, inspiration and motivation

Course objective
- The program objectives are to develop graduates who will utilize their expertise to apply fundamental technical knowledge and skills to find creative solutions to technological challenges and problems in various areas of civil engineering.
- They will be able to analyse, design and use skills in order to formulate and solve civil engineering problems and contribute to the economy of country.
- They will be able to practice civil engineering in a responsible professional and ethical manner and implement eco-friendly sustainable technologies for the benefits of industries and society.
- To engage in research and development in civil engineering and allied branches of it.
- Manage resources and demonstrate commitment to professional work.
Course outcome
- Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex civil engineering problems.
- Apply appropriate techniques, resources, modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to civil engineering activities with an understanding of their limitations.
- Design solutions for civil engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health & safety, cultural and societal & environmental considerations.
- Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health & safety, legal& cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional civil engineering practice.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the civil engineering and management principles and apply those to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage civil engineering projects in multidisciplinary environments
- Recognize the need for, have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of civil engineering technological changes.
Admission procedure
Eligibility:
- The student who has qualified SSC or equivalent from recognized board or body is eligible for admission in Diploma Engineering programme.

Admission Process:
- Purchase a PIN and Booklet from the recognized bank as informed by the Admission Committee.
- Submit an online form with necessary details and upload the documents on the admission portal.
- Make suitable choice filling as suggested by the admission committee in due time.
- Once the seat allocation is done and a seat is allotted to you, confirm your admission and pay necessary fees online on the portal.
- Take print of confirmation letter and payment receipt and report to the allotted institute in prescribed time duration.
