Introduction to course
Department of Diploma Electrical Engineering was established in the year 2012 by offering a Diploma‘s Course in Electrical Engineering, with a vision to provide the sense of creativity, exposure towards latest innovation and ongoing technology and knowledge in the field of electrical engineering. Department of Electrical Engineering offers diploma course. It has state of art laboratories equipped with latest electrical machineries, power system, measurement lab apart from these facilities we have one of the finest laboratory for high voltage engineering which is reckoned very rare in the field of engineering.
We have well qualified, proficient and dedicated faculties providing excellent teaching & learning environment. Faculties with industrial background bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial needs.
Mission
Mission of the Department is to provide effective exposure in relevant field and produce graduates according to the need of industry, government, society and scientific community, to develop partnership with industries, government agencies and R & D Organizations for knowledge sharing and overall development of faculties and students, to solve industrial, government agencies, societal and political issues by applying electrical design and circuits solving techniques, to impart human and ethical values in our students for better serving of society, to create awareness among students and inculcate affection for free and open platform for all.
Vision
Vision of the Department is to promote Research in the frontier areas of latest technologies in the field of Electrical Engineering, to generate Competent Professionals to become part of the Industry and Research Organizations at the National and International levels, to provide necessary strengths to enable the Students to innovate and become Entrepreneurs.
Course objective
The program objective is to develop graduates who will utilize their expertise in engineering to solve electrical problems of industry with wiring and electrical machine based system. They will also be able deal with latest technology in the field of power electronics, artificial intelligence and robotics as well.
Graduates will be able to develop own firm as well go for jobs and skill development at multinational companies. Graduates will function in their profession with responsibility. They will be qualified to understand issues and encounter any technical troubles occur during operation. Graduates will get success in their professional and social life. Graduates will work effectively with their colleagues.
Graduates have adaptability to new developments in science and latest technology.
Use relevant field knowledge i.e. PLC, SCADA based automation system to analyze and solve technical problems. Graduates have ability to communicate effectively and accurately. Graduates will be successful in modern engineering practice, integrate into the local and global workforce, and contribute to the economy of country.
Graduates will continue to demonstrate the professional skills necessary to be competent employees, leadership roles, and have career growth and professional satisfaction. Graduates will become productive citizens with high ethical and professional standards, who make sound engineering or managerial decisions, and have enthusiasm for the profession and professional growth.
