Course objective

  • Equip students with a comprehensive understanding of labor laws, policies, and regulations governing the workplace.
  • Develop students’ skills in analyzing and addressing contemporary labor issues and challenges, including those related to employment relations, workplace diversity, and labor rights.
  • Foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to effectively navigate complex labor situations and advocate for fair and equitable labor practices.
  • Cultivate leadership and communication skills necessary for engaging with diverse stakeholders, including workers, employers, unions, and government agencies.
  • Provide hands-on experience through internships, fieldwork, and case studies to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world labour scenarios.
