Job Overview

Dr. Subhash University is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our dynamic sports department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports and fitness, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of coaching and mentoring athletes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Implement Training Programs: Design comprehensive training programs that cater to the needs of athletes across various sports disciplines.
• Conduct Practice Sessions: Lead regular practice sessions, providing personalized coaching and feedback to enhance athletes’ skills and performance.
• Monitor and Evaluate Performance: Track the progress of athletes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to help them achieve their full potential.
• Promote Sportsmanship: Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that emphasizes fair play, respect, and camaraderie.
• Organize Competitions and Events: Coordinate and manage sports competitions, tournaments, and other events within the university and with external teams.
• Maintain Equipment and Facilities: Ensure all sports equipment and facilities are properly maintained, safe, and ready for use.
• Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with other coaches, physical education teachers, and administrative staff to support the overall sports program at the university.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Coaching Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in coaching, preferably at the collegiate level or higher.
• Certifications: Relevant coaching certifications from recognized bodies (e.g., National Coaching Certification Program).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, staff, and stakeholders.
